The origins of Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce

Its origins date back to 1866, when Mr. Jack Daniel's of Lynchburg, Tennessee, used Jack Daniel's whiskey as a secret ingredient during a summer BBQ festival. Jack Daniel's BBQ contests are still held every September in Tennessee, Kansas, and Texas.
